How To EDIT PROPS on The Palace
FIRST STEPS
1. Open your prop bag (The little briefcase icon at the bottom right)
2. Click on the prop you want to edit
3. Click EDIT
4. A box like the one below will appear
Follow along the numbers to learn how the edit box works
1. This is where you will edit your prop. Your prop will appear here. In my example I have used a Unique Head.
2. This is your drawing tool.
3. This is a selection box.
4. This is your eraser.
5. This shows you the colour you have chosen. The more you click on this button, the larger the line you draw/erase with will become.
6. This shows you a smaller preview of your prop as you are editing.
7. This is a place where you can name your prop.
(Sometimes other users are unable to see your prop after you have edited it. To fix this you will have to rename this area).
8. This allows you to add certain effects to your prop.
To use any of these, click on the text, not the little white box.
Head: This makes sure your default smiley face does not appear once you wear your prop.
Ghost: This makes the image lighter and more see through.
Anim: This can allow you to animate your prop.
Rare: This makes your prop rare.
Once it is dropped, it will disappear from your prop bag.
Bounce: This can allow you to make you prop bounce.
EDIT TIPS
1. Holding ALT in the edit box will allow the Paint Fill Tool to appear
2. Holding CTRL in the edit box will allow the Pick A Colour Tool to appear
3. Try not to make a mistake, because I don't think there is a way to undo
4. Before you begin to edit a prop, you may find it useful to dupe it in case you make an error
5. If you are making an animated prop, remember to dupe the prop as many times as you need
