This tutorial will explain how to make a blend using three images.
Follow along very carefully as each step is important.
I will be using the following three images through this tutorial.
Image 1 | Image 2 | Image 3
1. Create a new transparent image 350x150 pixels. This is your blend base.
2. Click on Image 1.
*Opens in a new window* Right click and copy it.
3. On the blend base, right click "Paste As A New Layer"
4. Position the image to the left
5. Click on Image 2.
*Opens in a new window* Right click and copy it.
6. On the blend base, right click "Paste As A New Layer"
7. Position the image to the right
8. Click on Image 3.
*Opens in a new window* Right click and copy it.
9. On the blend base, right click "Paste As A New Layer"
10. Position it in the center.
This image wil now be covering the previous two images you have pasted.
11. From the Top Menu,go to LAYERS > PROPERTIES...
12. The following box will pop up.
Change the Opacity to 60. Click OK.
13. Your blend base should now appear like this:
14. Click on the Eraser Tool
15. Make sure your Tool Options box is open and matches the following:
16. Using the Eraser Tool, erase around parts of the blend, such as any lines, dark spots, and just overall work to giving the image a more blended look.
17. Once you're happy with the look, from the Top Menu, go to: LAYERS > MERGE > MERGE ALL (FLATTEN)
18. Add any design, border, and text, you'd like.
